Herman Orisoe is the West Papua Advisor in Inobu. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Cenderawasih State University, Manokwari, in 1991. Prior to joining Inobu, Herman had an extensive career supporting rural development and conservation in West Papua. He has worked with intergovernmental organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), as well as conservation organizations, including the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). At Inobu, Herman is responsible for leading the engagement with provincial and district governments, government agencies, civil society organizations, and indigenous Papuan organizations, as well as coordinating related events.
