Biography

Ricardo Hernández Sánchez is Undersecretary of Forestry Development of the Secretary of Environment and Natural History of Chiapas. Previously he was the Director of Climate Change, Secretary of Environment and Natural History of Chiapas, General director of Na Bolom A. C., international consultant for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Director of Mexico for Conservation International (CI). He completed his doctoral studies at the Institute of Ecology of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and specialising in the fields of biology, economic and social development, ecotourism, protected natural areas, climate change and ecosystems services.
